Objectives for launch

Enable residents of the NDC to access the local labour market. Use a Slivers-of-Time marketplace to establish a recruitment agency for people from a disadvantaged background, then expand the agency to offer conventional employment as well. Use funding from UK Online’s “Social Impact Demonstrators” to train people with hours to sell but little experience in technology how to access the market.

Registration of sellers.

Target date for first transactions

Transactions are already happening ahead of a launch as sellers are booked for the NDC’s own ad-hoc office work requirements.
